The case of the leaker known as Cyberleek, which we already covered here when Take-Two went to court trying to unmask their identity, just got a new, much dirtier chapter. Cyberleek is now threatening to release a full, playable build of GTA 6, start to finish, tied to the price of a cryptocurrency they themselves promote.

The threat, in numbers
According to the leaker’s own website, they’re promising to release the complete game build if the token they promote hits a $30 million market cap. In practice, it’s a crypto pump campaign dressed up as activism against the games industry: the more people buy the token, the closer the price gets to the target, and the closer the leaker gets to “following through” on the threat.
What’s on the table
- Market cap target $30 million for the token promoted by Cyberleek
- Offered off-ramp for Take-Two Ship GTA 6 with an actual physical disc and a public apology
- Today Rockstar has already confirmed a collector’s edition, but it ships with a download code, not a disc
- Credibility Part of the community suspects the leaked material so far comes from an old build
The “off-ramp” Cyberleek is offering Take-Two
According to the leaker’s post, Take-Two could avoid the leak by publicly apologizing for not releasing a real physical version of the game, and by actually selling GTA 6 on disc. Rockstar has already confirmed a collector’s edition (the same $400 box we already covered here, which doesn’t include the game), but the physical version ships with a download code, not an actual disc.
The ugliest part: using Lucia as leverage
Behind the “activism against digital pre-orders” rhetoric Cyberleek had already used before, the current scheme is a lot more explicit: according to cross-referenced reporting from multiple outlets, the group has also reportedly promised to release explicit content involving the character Lucia if other token market cap targets are hit. It’s a detail that makes clear the “fighting for gamers” framing is cover for pumping a coin’s price, not a genuine cause.
That tracks with what we already flagged in the earlier case: Cyberleek’s own “manifesto” against paid DLC and digital pre-orders always sat oddly well alongside promoting a meme coin on the side.
It could just be a bluff
Some skepticism is warranted here. So far, Cyberleek has released over an hour of GTA 6 material, but a good chunk of the community suspects that content comes from an older build, not the most recent one. In other words, the threat to release “the entire game, start to finish” may just be a strategy to pump the token’s price further, without actually having fresh material to release.
