Rockstar released the launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI this Thursday (10/15), the last one before the game hits shelves. Unlike the first two trailers, which showed Jason and Lucia separately, this one focuses on their relationship as they get pulled into a criminal conspiracy spreading across the state of Leonida.

What’s in the trailer
The roughly 90-second video alternates between shootouts, chases, and more personal moments between Jason and Lucia, including a shower scene. Lucia’s ankle monitor, already shown in the first images of the game, shows up again. The footage spans several regions of Leonida, with a strong focus on the return of Vice City.
According to Rockstar, all the footage was captured straight from the game running on PlayStation 5, same as the previous trailers. Xbox Series X|S doesn’t appear anywhere in the official footage, even though the game is also confirmed for Microsoft’s console.
What the trailer confirms
- Release date November 19, 2026, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S
- Trailer focus Jason and Lucia’s relationship amid a conspiracy in Leonida
- Featured location Vice City

The soundtrack gets another layer
The trailer also debuts “Flower in a Hurricane,” a new track from French duo Justice, who also composed the game’s original score. The song features Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, and is part of the official Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, already available for pre-save, with CD and vinyl pre-orders open. Rockstar promised more soundtrack details in the coming weeks.
This release comes shortly after a longer showcase on August 27, which covered the open world, activities, and gameplay changes. Rockstar hasn’t said whether any more trailers are coming before the November launch.
