GTA 6 Could Hit PC As Early As Q1 2027, Much Faster Than GTA V, Report Claims

If you’re a PC-only player bracing for a long wait, you might be in for good news. According to a report published this Tuesday (10/13), GTA 6 could reach PC as early as the first quarter of 2027, between January and March, just a few months after the console launch.

What the report says, and what’s still not official

The claim comes from four industry sources speaking anonymously, with no confirmation from Rockstar as of publication. Today, the game’s official page lists only PS5 and Xbox Series X/S for the November 19, 2026 launch. PC isn’t among the announced platforms.

What we know so far

  • Console launch November 19, 2026, confirmed, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S
  • Reported PC window Between January and March 2027, per the report
  • Gap from console 6 weeks to 4 months, depending on where in the quarter it lands
  • Official confirmation None so far

Comparing to Rockstar’s track record

If the report holds up, it would be a major shift from the company’s usual pattern. GTA V, for instance, hit consoles in September 2013 and didn’t land on PC until April 2015, a gap of about 19 months. A wait of just a few months for PC, as this report suggests, would be a fraction of that.

Worth keeping in mind: this is still unconfirmed, based on anonymous sourcing. Until Rockstar says something official, the safest read is to treat it as a possibility, not a locked-in date.
